Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL) (10+2) 12th Based exam annually throughout the nation. SSC CHSL is a three-tier exam which can be conducted refill vacancies for a wide variety of posts in several Central Government offices and departments like Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, Data Entry Operator in the Office of The Comptroller And Auditor General(C& AG). ·         This paper will evaluate your writing skills.

·         Tier II will be a descriptive paper. In ‘Pen and Paper Mode’ the duration of 100 marks paper will be one hour.

·         The exam will consist of an application letter writing of about 150-200 words and an essay of 200-250 words.

·         Candidates should also keep in mind that the Tier-2 examination will prepare aptitude in the assessment process.

·         Candidates must score at least 33% to qualify.

·         Applicants may choose to write the paper in English or Hindi.

·         Candidates cannot mix languages ​​when writing. If they prefer to write in Hindi, the entire paper should be in Hindi only and vice versa in English.

·         This test does not include a negative mark for incorrect answers.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Tier – III

Skill Test for Data Entry Operator

·         Candidates need to show 8000 depressions per hour to clear this test for the post of  Data Entry  Operator. This nature will become worthy.

·         The skills test will be taken on a computer. The notification will be notified to the examination center and the concerned agency. Candidates will have to check the official website for more details.

·         Only applicants who have the minimum required speed will be recommended for the merit list.

·         The data entry hour parameter in the office fee of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C and AG) will be determined based on the correct entry of words/key depressions according to the given passage of 15000 key depressions hour.

Typing Test for LCD/JSA and Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant

·         Candidates will have the option to type in Hindi or English. This exam will be qualified in nature.

·         The speed of 10500 key depressions per hour will be determined based on the correct entry of words/key pressures as per the given passage.

·         This will be a computer-based test to check the speed and accuracy of the candidate. Applicants will have to type the given text paragraph within 10 minutes of the time.

The Tier III of SSC CHSL will be a Skill Test/Typing Test, which would be of qualifying nature. The last value of the fruitful competitors would be resolved depending on Tier-I and Tier-II’s total score.
