UP Election Result 2022, Time: MLA Seat Wise (Live Counting)

The panchayat elections are being seen as a semi-final before the UP assembly elections next year. Panchayat election results have raised alarm bells for the ruling BJP. In fact, 760 candidates supported by the Samajwadi Party have succeeded in Zilla Panchayat wards, while the candidates supported by the Bharatiya Janata Party have been successful in 750 seats. Whereas BSP has won 381 seats so far. Apart from this, Congress has also got 76 seats. However, independent candidates won the maximum number of seats. According to the released data, independent candidates have captured 1083 seats. The counting of votes for the results, which started on May 2, is still going on in a few seats.

Favorable election results have emerged for Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, despite facing criticism for not doing his best to campaign. On the other hand, the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government has suffered due to its failure to deal with the Covid-19 crisis. Trends indicate that even the BJP’s massive campaign in the smallest of villages has failed to deliver the expected results.
