14 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject specialty after obtaining of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
OR
12 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject specialty after obtaining M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
OR
11 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject specialty for candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M/M.Ch in respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Non-Medical candidates: 14 years teaching and/or research experience indiscipline I subject concerned after obtaining Ph.D.

Level 14-A of the Pay Matrix as given in the MoH&FW (INI-I-Section), GoI Letter No. V- 16020/28/2017-INI-I (Pt.), dated 23rd August 2018 i.e., Minimum Pay of Rs.1,68,900/-. (Plus 20% NPA for medically qualified candidates only) Rs.37,400-67,000+AGP Rs.10,500/- (6th CPC)
Up to 40% of posts of Professor will get Higher Administrative (HAG) Scale subject to clearance of the prescribed process by the IB/GB.
✤ Additional Professor:
Level 13-A2+ of the Pay Matrix as given in the MoH&FW (INI-I-Section), GoI Letter No.V-16020/28/2017-INI-I (Pt.), dated 23rd August 2018 i.e., Minimum Pay of Rs.1,48,200/-

with provision to move to Level 13 of the Pay Matrix after three years.

AIIMS Recruitment 2020 Selection Process:
☛ Short Listing/Methods of the Selection: The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview or for selection. Based on bio-data, the Screening Committee may short-list candidates for interviews. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview. They may also be asked to submit an affidavit/declaration as decided by the AIIMS, Kalyani at the time of the Interview. The methodology of Selection will be decided by the Selection The committee is deemed fit beside any other matter relating to the selection process.
