No fee to update Aadhaar card: Unique Identification Authority of India has announced in public interest that now no fee to change name address mobile number in Aadhaar card. People will benefit. Total 134 crore people have Aadhaar card in the country. Aadhaar card update has been completely free for three months, i.e. till June 14. However, if you go to an offline center and get updated, you will have to pay a charge of Rs 50.

Aadhaar card amendment absolutely free

To promote Digital India, this relief has been given to the people by the Government of India. One thing to note is that this free service will be available for three months from 15th March to 14th June 2023. No fee will be charged for Aadhaar updation. Till now 50 rupees was charged for updating Aadhaar card online. This free service is available only on Aadhaar portal. If you want to update in person at emergency and Aadhaar center, then 50 rupees offline fee has to be paid. It has been made free only for online service. The Unique Identification Authority of India has also announced that if the Aadhaar card was issued ten years ago and needs to be updated, the ID and address proof will have to be uploaded afresh and the Aadhaar card will be updated only after its authentication..

How to amend Aadhaar card online?

  • First you need to go to the official website of Aadhaar Card website: https://uidai.gov.in/gu/
  • After login here you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number after that type captcha coder and click on OTP
  • Now on registration mobile number An otp will come enter and login
  • click on Abad Aadhaar update options in which click on proceed to aadhaar update options
  • here on another page click on address and click on proceed aadhaar update
  • here old address will open in front of you in a page if you If you want to update the new address then select the option
  • Fill your new address information here
  • To correct the address in Aadhaar card it is necessary to submit a document which is your new address
  • After that click on the checkbox given below and press the next button
  • Similarly, you have to select the option of mobile number name or address change in the Aadhaar card and
  • upload the documents according to the selected options, then your request will be accepted on the official website of the Aadhaar card.
  • After a few days, if the verification is done, the name and address in Aadhaar will be updated.
  • Visit the official website to check whether the Aadhaar card online correction has been done or not
