Pursuant to the above subject and context, to state that Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Gandhinagar, Ta. 10/11/2071 with letter from Ministry of Power, Government of India. According to the letter dated 0711/2021, school, state and national level drawing competitions have been organized every year since 2006 with the objective of motivating children towards energy conservation by the Ministry of Power (MP) with the active support of PSUs under the Ministry and State Education Department. This activity is being run on behalf of Bureau tr Energy Efficiency (BEE).
POWERGRIÒ Gandhinagar has been appointed as the nodal office in the state of Gujarat for organizing the above competitions. This year competitions are planned according to two groups in Rd-A, Dhiran-2, 3, 4 and 9-B in Std-9, 8, 10. The themes for which are (1) Azad ka irit Mahotsav, Energy Efficien: India and (ii) Aadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Cleaner Planet.
Personal online registration of state level drawing competition by students 01 November
Must be done on www.bee-studentsaward.in from 2021 to 31st November 2021. They have organized a state level drawing competition from 9th December to 10th December 2021. For the first, second and third place students in the state level and national level drawing competition, consolation prize distribution has been organized. Details of the name nodal officer of the state are attached herewith.
This year, on the occasion of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”, it has been decided to celebrate 5 years of independence on the theme of energy efficient India, so that students, teachers and parents can be made aware of the importance of energy conservation. Details of drawing competition and list of state level nodal officers are uploaded on www.beeinda.gov, in.

In view of the details of the aforesaid letter, it is imperative from your level to give necessary instructions to all the primary schools under your jurisdiction regarding maximum participation of students of Std. 6 to 8 in this drawing competition and also to ensure proper organization of competitions in liaison with the aforesaid nodal agency. It is said to take action as per rules.
